Attempts in rigging.


Since my attempts at creating a multiplayer version of "Wrecking's Bag" didn't work out, I decided to refocus my efforts on exploring another area as a solo developer.

So far, my project hasn't involved much animation work, so I thought it would be fun to give it a try.

This experience taught me a lot about applying various concepts to create a 3D model that is poseable and animatable. While I believed my rig is pretty useable, mastering all the necessary parts actually took around ten months.

The modeling and rigging in Blender took about three hours give or take. The process is quite tedious, and connecting everything led to some mesh movement issues.

Overall, I enjoyed creating a fully posable rig, but it was an enjoyable learning experience.

Here's the result integrated into Godot.


which is already very cool, rigging hand is also working!


I also rigged/animated a small ant in the past which turned out okay, so I can show off that I can animate more than biped.
